TNSTC to run Navagraha temple service buses daily

Thanjavur district is known as Kumbakonam City of Temples. There are Navagraha temples around Kumbakonam.
A large number of devotees from not only Tamil Nadu but also from outside the states visit the Navagraha temple places here and perform remedies.As such people have to go to each place of worship by hired taxi, private bus, auto, time, Money is also wasted. A special new route connecting Navagrahas to visit Navagraha temples in one day.
Tourists also demanded to run the government bus.

A special bus Non Ac will run only on 4 days every week – Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A fare of Rs.740 per person and chilren fare 370 has been set for this special bus to and from Navagraha destinations.
But AC Bus will runs on All Days. A fare of Rs.1274 per person has been set for this special bus to and from Navagraha destinations.

Depart Kumbakonam bus station at 5 am with passengers booked to visit Navagraha temples
Thingalur Chandran Temple, Alangudi Gurubhagavan Temple, Thirunageswaram Rahu Temple, Suryanar Temple,
The bus goes to Kanjanur Sukran Temple, Vaitheeswaran Kovil Chevvai Temple

Lunch break is from 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm. At 2.30 pm the devotees are taken for darshan of Tiruvenkadu Budhan Temple.Devotees are then taken to Keezhaperumpallam Ketu Temple and Tirunallaru Saniswaran Temple. This bus departs from Thirunallar at 6 PM and returns to Kumbakonam Bus Station by 8 PM.

It will be operated by Kumbakonam Division of Tamil Nadu Government Transport Corporation. Devotees can get tickets through website and mobile app to travel in these Navgraha special buses.
